The Sherborne School Foundation exists to support the development of Sherborne School, and to support its continuation as a top academic school for boys that promotes the widest opportunity and fulfilment outside the classroom.

The Sherborne Sessions 2016
The latest issue of the Shirburnian magazine provided details of many of the School's activities last year.
A number of these were enabled by generous giving to the Annual Fund 2015/16.
Various boys enjoyed tours and trips thanks to donations to the Travel and Bursary Fund (The Peter Currie Fund), while a significant sum was granted to fund sports coaching costs for boys on bursaries. The Inspirational Speaker Programme and the Science Festival also benefited from gifts made to the Annual Fund last year. We are grateful for each and every contribution.
Support is continuing to come in for The Sherborne Sessions 2016, Sherborne School's bi-annual 'how to write' festival that brings 1,000 pupils from Sherborne and other local schools together with a number of leading writers in their fields, from slam poets to novelists, many of them award winners.
The School's leading academic enrichment activity is this year being supported by the opportunity for individuals and companies to name one of the dynamic, interactive sessions and to attend the session supported with a guest.

We look forward to an inspirational few days of exceptional writing training from some of the best writers of our time from 11 - 15 October 2016 and thank those who have given their support to the festival already.
Details of the Annual Fund 2016/17 will be published shortly.
