The Mathematics Exploratory is a new approach in which students are encouraged to explore Mathematical concepts in a practical way. This ranges from elementary investigations to mechanics demonstrations for Further Mathematicians at A-level. The aim of the Exploratory is to promote and encourage the study of Mathematics. It is hoped that day to day techniques will be made clear through practical activities and that students will start to see Mathematics as a subject where exploration and interaction is an integral part of the learning experience.
