In the academic year 2011-12, Sherborne was able to welcome Thomas Maltbaek and Praise Oh from Princeton, USA as our first Foundation Fellows thanks to the generosity of Old Shirburnians. 

Each year, the Foundation is looking to support new Fellows - recent high flying graduates who will teach and help at the School for a year.

We will recruit graduates who can, first and foremost, have an impact through their academic calibre and flair as well as enthusiasm for their subject.  In addition, they will bring coaching skills to either a cultural or sporting area of the School.

We will aim to bring in these assistants from top universities around the world and offer them a one year contract with the School which will include teacher training.  The Fellows live in shared School accommodation to ensure their enthusiasm can also rub off on other staff, and also ensure they are on hand to make the most of their time at Sherborne.

We are aiming to fund two Fellows per year, and are therefore seeking to raise £40,000 each year.
