Music School 2010 opened

The retiring headmaster, Simon Eliot, opened the Music School 2010 on Friday 2nd July amidst an extensive festival of music.  Over 400 donors attended the opening event and lunch where there was ample opportunity to experience the breadth of Sherborne's musical output under the brand new roof of the impressive new building.

Bow Society Lunch - Autumn 2010
The autumn meeting of the Bow Society will take place on Thursday 25th November at the Cavalry and Guards Club in London.  The meeting will take the form of a lunch commencing at 12.30 for 1pm.  Sherborne's new Headmaster, Christopher Davis, looks forward to meeting all members on the day.  Please contact Stephanie on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Bow Society Lunch - Spring 2010

The Spring meeting of the Bow Society takes place on Thursday 29th April in the Upper Pavilion in Sherborne in the form of a lunch followed by a 1st XI cricket match against Bryanston.  We look forward to welcoming all members.

New funds for bursaries and sport launched - autumn 2009

The Foundation has launched two new funds in areas which are at the heart of life at Sherborne - bursaries and sport.  Both funds will form a major part of the Annual Fund 2009/10 and we hope that as many OS, parents and friends of the School as possible will support these funds and participate in Sherborne's exciting future.  Click here to read more about both projects, or take a look at our Annual Report for 2009 for further details.

 
Sherborne's new music school gets underway

Planning permission for the new music school was granted in December 2008 and the School embarked upon the next stage of the project with a 'turning of the sod' ceremony in January 2009.  It is hoped to have contractors on site before the end of February 2009.
